This project, which aired during Superbowl LVII (2023), features Will Ferrell driving GM’s new electric vehicles through various popular Netflix shows (Army of the Dead, Bridgerton, Squid Games, Stranger Things, Love is Blind and Queer Eye).
During the shooting process, the same cameras and rehoused vintage lenses were used to replicate the look and feel from the Army of the Dead film.
Many of the scenes were captured on an LED Volumetric stage to allow for flexibility with having to recreate several distinct environment backgrounds
The VFX was a collaborate effort between Framestore NY and Eyeline Studios to bring the adventure to life.
